Wow. 25 posts and no Briana Banks joke.

Heard about this guy on NPR/The Story a while back. Sad thing. F*ck that lying piece of shit.

I would've killed that bitch.

No, you would have post on a tech forum that "a friend" wanted to kill "that bitch", and how to go about being an accomplice to "that friend" killing "that bitch" with the assistance of "an acquaintance" who happens to be "a chemist" and could come up with some sort of "untraceable compound" in order to accomplish the killing of "that bitch", all the while trying to maintain your position as an "innocent bystander" in the situation while laying blame for the entire situation elsewhere.

Before i saw the video I was thinking about posting a statement on "keeping it in your pants" until your partner is sober, but they didn't even have sex. This wasn't some drunken sex event, they just made out according to him. This woman is nuts, and the system just enables her behavior. It will be difficult to convict real rapists when you have liars who cast doubt on all accusations.

If you dig deeper you will see that it wasn't even the girl who initiated this fallacy. It was the mother. She's the one that encouraged her daughter to lie and sue.

Isn't CA a two-party consent state for recording?

In this case, it doesn't really matter what the law says. Even if getting that confession broke some laws, any prosecutor who tries to punish Mr. Banks for trying to exonerate himself is going to be excoriated in the media and by his next political opponent.

Is there is a system in place to help people like him get jobs? I'm sure being in prison for 5 years will hurt your ability to adjust.

Actually this is the crazy thing. In most states once you are exonerated you are basically dropped out of the system with just about nothing. You don't even get what a normal parole would get. However in this case Mr. Banks was already out of jail since he had served his time and been released. Looks like he had a good support system. Now that he doesn't have a felony sex offender conviction it should be easier for him to get some type of job.

How the hell is he not suing her for the 1.5 Mil she got for the time he lost from his life? I smell something fishy. If it doesn't make sense it's probably a lie. I think he was in on it with her and her mother to sue the school from the very beginning and she already gave him his cut under the table.

You catch the part where she recants and she's talking to him and says she doesn't want to give back the money they gave US? Then she goes oh I mean the money they gave me.

Seriously, you are thinking this is a conspiracy? She probably doesn't have anything to sue for which is why he hasn't sued her. She has spent all the money already. Which is probably also why the school district isn't trying to get it back.

Good to see he got signed and hopefully can play in the NFL. As for Wanetta, she has no money to go after. She's broke so what would suing her accomplish except throwing money at a lawyer?

She should be stripped of every possession she has to be sold at auction to pay back the school district and compensate Mr. Banks. She needs to spend day for day of what he did combined in jail and prison. When she gets out she is required to work or go back. Garnish the majority of her wages to continue to pay them back. This is insane. The point needs to be made that false accusers will be prosecuted.

On the flip side, maybe fewer people will recant false testimony if they know they will be harshly punished for it.

Next step, accuser should go to jail for "perjury". I hope the city goes after her and her mother soon.

Nice, too bad they won't see a dime. Hopefully she gets some jail time. (but that's still at the tax payer's expense)
