Don't pay attention to some of the men who post here, they have probably never had a girlfriend. My gf knows how I feel about her, I think I treat her really well, I take care of her physical and emotional needs and she takes care of mine. I treat her as my equal at all times and I listen to what she says and above all I respect her as a person.

I've seen some men and they treat women like a piece of meat and that's just wrong, men like that will never find a soulmate until they learn to respect women and treat them as an equal.

There are plenty of those guys out there. It's tough to judge character over the internet because sometimes people act differently when they have that barrier between you and reality. Also, I wouldn't say that there are many threads started that are "I appreciate my gf". Why? Probably because those guys don't have to shout it out. The girl threads sure have been numerous the past couple of weeks, and usually they are "Hey look at this hot girl - I'd do her". I would be willing to bet that a lot of those guys in there don't act like that when they talk to a girl face-to-face (at least I hope not...)

Don't completely lose faith in guys, there are some good ones out there.

There are a lot of nice guys out there, but I think most girls ignore them and go for the "bad" guys. Most of my friends that are girls will admit that they'd be more attracted to a guy that has a "bad" side because its intriguing where as the nice guys who they know will treat them well are just boring. Yet they all complain when the "bad" guy mistreats them ... Go figure

Rarr, don't worry about the one's who put forth the macho rants about how they are in control of their woman. Truth is, they are frustrated virgins. No, it's the really slimy ones you need to be wary of. You know, the smooth talkers like nemesismk2 who will tell you how they treat their woman with the utmost of respect and concern, and meet her every need, physical and emotional. Oh, please!
Get over it, Rarr. It's forever a battle of the sexes. Always has been, always will be. Men and women are incompatible. We should all be sterilized and simply meet for non productive sexual encounters. Finish, say, "Thank you", get out and move on.

The only reason there are males and females is because of reproduction. It doesn't require a genius to see what this will lead to. Males have been 'programmed' by nature to fight for the right to procreate. Feeling 'love' for those females in the way many Humans seem to get excited about is not part of this 'program'. It's totally made up.

ok I'll admit it I've been around quite abit (ok so I've lost count of the women I've slept with) but it's different when you find someone special. I don't look at other women any more because I respect my girlfriend and I really can't imagine life without her. That's why we are engaged I suppose!
