One more comment. I am not going to specifically ask for reimbursement of shipping charges. If they come through with the $50 rebate, I figure roughly $11 for 64MB of SDRAM is good enough for me.
I got the crappy nanya chips as well I sure wish i got the infineons, as these definitely don't work at 133 cls2. Should I return this stick? What are you guys doing with your sticks of nanya? thx

Meanwhile, my Asus A7V reports 3T when set to 'By SPD' for my SDRAM. Does that mean CAS3? Should I specify 7ns (143MHz) in BIOS?? Or should i leave it alone @ 133MHz
Well, I got my 128MB yesterday. The chips are Infineon (Germany) HYB39S64800BT-7.5. On the Infineon web site those are listed
as "for 133MHz 3-3-3 applications", which means that Lamart's
claim for CL2 chips is bogus. Now the question is should I return
it or should I be happy with 128MB of Infineon memory for $50?
Also, they say "lifetime warranty". Since I did not get a receipt,
invoice, or any other proof of purchase, how am I supposed to claim
the warrnty, should I need to?
If you look at the 4th page of the ram round-up from overclockin.com, they had a PNY PC133 CAS3 128 MB stick that used the exact same type of Infineon memory module. Same number, Germany origin and everything. Anyways, their tests showed that stick stable up for 143@CL2 and 159@Cl3.
you guys DO realize 128MB PC133 generic (appears to be what you're getting) is only 46+10 shipping at pricewatch. no silly rebate. if 64MB is 11 bucks, you're not saving that much...
But if you get shipping rebated, then it's only $2.00, then who can complain? And also, Infineon chips are far from generic <though the PCB seems to be generic>.
I'm running my RAM at 147 @ cas3. I've yet to try it at cas2, but I don't really care since my stick of 128 mb RAM is running at 147 @ cas3 anyways.
I got my 64MB PC133 stick in the mail a few moments ago. Will turn off my comp now and test it..let you guys know how it runs. BTW...I did call them and they said I'd get my $50. After I test the ram, I'm going to call and get my money back for the shipping as per their offer as well. So far seems like a good deal. Will be back in a few to let you guys know if the ram is any good.
I got infinion 7.5 but since my cpu doesnt like higher then 100 much (boots but dies in windows loading) can't tell if its working at 133. well its at 100, 2-2-2 and all seems to be fine. by the way their service is one of the best, now just waiting for my $59.50 rebate
I got some SDRAM...ns = 7.5 so I'm thinking that it's the same infineon that you got. I am currently running it at 133 FSB with 3-3-3. I would try to push it to do 3-3-2, or 2-2-2, but my other SDRAM in my system is 3-3-3. I ran an extensive test on the ram though and it looks to be solid. Now just waiting for my rebate...
Got mine today. It's Nanya chips. However, when I installed the module into my K7-system, the system refuses to boot. Any ideas??? Is this designed for Intel system only??? help.
Same here! unable to boot Win98SE, I thought it screwed my other (good 128pc100) memory.

If you take out (all) memory stick(s), and turn your PC on, let it beep for couple of seconds, power it down, and put your (old) good memory back. it works as usual.
As far as this Infenion/Nanya crap, it said i need to change delay to 2,2,2 and still it did not boot win98se. I'll try 2000 later.
Tried bootting at 100 mhz cas2, first it didn't recogzine it, then got windows protection error. WTF? They said PC133 CL2, and this crap can't even do CL2 at any speed?
I have a 128 and a 64 MB stick in one computer. I added the stick of 64 MB of Nanya to it. It wouldn't boot Windows, even in safe mode!!! WTF?!?!? Pulled out the Nanya and it boots fine again.

Well, it didn't work at all under Windows on a Via 133A chipset, but it does appear to be working now under linux on a BX motherboard. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
Mine's the Denmark stuff and it AIN'T CAS2 and it ain't working at any setting on my machine!!
I'm calling CSR in the morning. And I'm a little POed because my great deal step ladder turned out to be 4 feet tall when the picture showed an eight footer.
OTOH my daughter's Maxtor 40 gig 7200 seems to be fine.
hmm.. odd mine just runs without a hitch on BH6 for win98SE with total of 256mb ram. 100mhz 2-2-2. So far on reviews ive only heard good thing about INfinion ram. and it works ok on mine and few other p2 generic MB.
