Just got off the phone with the CSR she said if you signed up with the code on the first page where you hit confirm you will receive the $50 rebate. 4-6 weeks you should have it. I have a 64meg stick on the way $1.99 final cost

I just finished ordering the 64mb ram. I even told the CSR the code and she said it was valid. You have to enter the code in your billing information where it saids Coupon. She walked me through it actually. Takes 2-3 weeks for the rebate. Hope this works. Goodluck everybody!

I just called in 10.10pm PST 10/31/00 and the CSR said the offer was still valid $50 off $50 FOR NEW customers. $50 off $100 was a different code for existing customers.

She checked my order (placed around 4.30pm PST) and said it looked ok for the rebate.

I just called in to check as well. I told her I signed up under the page that denoted $50 back from first purchase of $50 or more and also put the coupon in on the order page. (BTW: I found the coupon at the site with all those technology bargains.)

She checked and saw that my order had gone through (I received the email a couple minutes after placing the order so I know it did). She said that if I didn't receive any errors when placing the order, then I should expect the rebate check in 2-3 weeks.

I think the deal is still valid for New customers as pdampier stated. Sign up on the same page I did, put the code in during checkout, and if you don't get the page back saying you made an error, you should be good to go.

I'm still not completely sure I'll get the rebate, since nothing really stated that the coupon was activated, but I have high hopes...

BTW: The page I signed up at still says:
"Get on EqualFooting and get $50 back from first purchase of $50 or more." - 1:23 AM CST 11/01/2000

There are 2 different coupon pages, one has a coupon within the URL (for tech bargain hunters), the other does not.

try ordering them before or after the sign up. They have great customer service. no waiting for my 2 calls. They did confirm (without me even asking) that i have -50 on $50 deal and they'll send me the check in 2~3 weeks. great deal.. maybe i should order more! ) wonder if its Duron compatible.

Just got off the fone with a CSR. They pulled up my account and I got the $50 off $50 for my 64MB PC133. I think you have to enter the code before the order confrimation. Make sure you call after you ordered to ensure the coupon went through.

HAHAHHAAH YES IT WORKS! It is 4:09 PST and I just ordered the RAM and called up the CSR (friendly I might add) and checked up on it, I played dumb saying I wasn't sure if I did it right as I was 'new' to it and she checked and said it would process and come through! WOW WHAT A GREAT DEAL.. hehe that made my day... amidst cramming and Midterms! great buy! 4-6weeks and rebate here I come, free shipping I might add!!

I just talked to the CSR and he told me that it will take from 4 to 6 weeks for the rebate to get back. Also he mentioned that it still is 50/50+ for new customers so the deal is still valid. I just got one pc133 128mb, why are you gonna get 64mb when you can't really feel any difference from it. Well guys cross your fingers and hope Equalfooting doesn't go bankrupt and we all get ripped off fifty bucks.

Before I hit this order button, I want to make sure of something. I inputed the $50 off $50 code, but it didnt lower the price I was paying on the final screen. Is this correct, since it is technically a rebate? I dont want to commit the money until Im sure, since there are other good deals out there. If anyone could help, Id be thankful.

I was told by a CSR that there is no indication that the coupon code worked.
The coupon won't show up in your cart, you'll see that you paid full price
for the product, which you did.

If the form isn't rejected immediately with the code you put in there, then
it should go through. A CSR assured me of this, but you should call just to
make sure. They're friendly, and that's why they're there.

It is a rebate, so you'll pay full price before being sent the rebate.

I think EqualFooting just helps vendors sell their goods. This is a rebate
from EqualFooting, not the vendors, so I guess the vendors still get their
money as contracted with EqualFooting. It's EqualFooting that will send the
rebate, as I understand it.

Go for the deal folks, ummm, but don't blame me if you don't get your rebate.

Remember the code needs to be put in during checkout as well!
