6600gt vs 6800le vs 6800

hi

i have a limited budget, because of that i am looking to buy a video card on ebay, i need to know which video cards are better between these 3 : 6600gt , 6800le , 6800 , ive been able to find these 3 cards on ebay that are within my price range ( big max 150$ ).

Also something important that might make a significant impact is my computer is only a athlon 2400+ XP .

for example :
- LEADTEK WINFAST A400 TDH GeForce 6800 128MB for 150$
- LEADTEK A400LE TDH GEFORCE 6800LE 128MB for 130$
- PNY GEFORCE 6800 VERTO 128MB for 140$... ( is this a good deal? it expires REALLY soon id have to act quick )
- a PNY Verto Geforce 6600GT 128MB for 135$ ...

so as you see the are all in about the same price range, of course if you tell that these 3 cards are about the same or that because of my cpu it wouldnt make any change which card i pick ill just get the cheapest that i can find.

From what ive read everywhere on the net, the best choices stock would be the 6800, then 6600gt then 6800le.

But u have to consider the 6800le ability to be unlocked etc...

help plz? ( feel free to suggest another product too )

since you have an athlon XP, im guessing you have AGP, not PCI-E.

well, i would wait for 6800GS (comes out this week apparently), but since your budget is alloted to 150, i would definitely get the 6800 for 140-150 (depending on your deal), and NOT the 6800LE. le is basically a cut down version of the regular 6800. 6600GT is a pretty good card, but nowadays, its surpassed by 6800nu (regular 6800) and the x800gto cards.

so all in all:

6600le - no no
6600GT - not really worth it since 6800 is right next to it
6800 - heck yes, 12 pipes vs 8 pipes on the 6600GT and the ability to flash it (hopefully) to unlock 6800GT/Ultra pipelines and vertex units/shaders whatever they're called.

out of all that mumbo jumbo, 6800 is your best bet. i would get the one from leadtek, as it has a HUGE heatsink allowing for a higher OC potential...unless you dont like the card taking up 2 slots. then otherwise get the PNY.

edit: dammit, i cant spell athlon xp right!

Out of those three, the 6800 is undoubtedly the best... but in case you wouldn't succeed in getting one on eBay, an eVGA 6600GT can be bought for as little as $ 139 on Newegg ($119 after Mail-In Rebate! :Q), so I would lean more towards such a solution.

You'll get completely new stuff, and a 6600GT is a card that will still provide you with plenty of gaming joy...

Another thing you could also consider, is buying a refurbished card from Newegg... It's the same principle of eBay, you get second-hand stuff, but the prices are low as well...

This looks like a tempting deal to me...
This is a reasonable deal as well, the chances that you can unlock pipelines are real, but not 100%, so I would still advise a new 6600GT above this...

It's up to you to decide...

*EDIT: BTW, is your PSU powerful enough? Do you have enough RAM?

I just bought a 6800NU by Apollo at Newegg. It came with all pipes unlocked . I have not messed with overclocking it yet . Also it has Gainward printed on the back side which I take as a good sign.This card is much faster than the 9500pro it replaced.

where are you seeing the 6800 NU for 140?
