I bet some idiot messed with BIOS and TOLD the computer/video card that it had 20pipelines, but that would cause it to try to use them, and would ultimately screw over his computer. It only has 16...dont try to tell anything it has 20

then again, i modded my 6600gt to a 6800gizmo....42 pipelines, 4ghz core/5ghz memory...yeah

I guess he just heard that you can unlock 4 pipelines on a 6800, which is true for the plain cards. Not knowing it doesn't apply to GTs or Ultras, there's one way someone can get to the conclusion that 20 pipelines exist.

well i finally got the flux capacitor to full power, and i cracked out 88Mph on the core

i completed 3Dmark05 before it was made, and my score is still being calculated....ETA (if u will) will be a few million years

ok, so there are 16 physical actual on the card pipelines...
but they have to work in groups of 4........

they cant be switched independantly.....

so on that logic there are only 4 pipes really as you cannot run 14, or 10, or 6......

the fact that they are linked together as a unit of 1 despite there being 4 means that they cannot work as individual pipes, only as a group of 4, which means there is really only one unit, the 4 are just parts making up a whole....

hehe, c'mon, you gotta admit, my logic makes sense here....if you can understand it....

to clarify.......16 pipes, but they MUST work in groups of 4.......so essentially there is only 4 but each one is made up of 4 components (in this case pipes)......

Having a little problem getting mine working. After dowloading a hacked BIOS, I set the AGP voltage to 1.21 jiggawatts but when I turn it on, my computer exploded and my house caught fire. My neighbors weren't too happy with the local blackout either. Should I order the Mr. Nuclear Fission on Newegg, or is there a workaround?

I say we cut to the chase: we all know we want a card with 60 pipes, a GPU with core speeds up to 800Mhz, and mem chips that go a blazing 8Ghz, and a heatsink so huge it needs a bike, a car, and a manbaby to power it. That will be the day.

If you live in CA, then the tax on that Nuclear Fission will kill the deal, order it from Monarch or better yet, PM with Staples. Make sure that it is the AGP version and not PCI-E.

I was able to give 1.21 jiggawatts to my PCI-E card and I turned it on, caused a lot of electric fluctuations and eventually the blackout (obviously the city mayor and PG&E wasnt happy about it). So i got the Nuclear Fission from Staples after PMing and they even let me use a $30 coupon that I had and delivered next day (be sure you have extra hands on the day of delivery to carry it inside your home).

The best computer investment I have ever made...oh btw, no more eletrcity bills for me or the entire city now as I route the spare power (now the Mayor is happy but PG&E is pissed b/c of lost customers)....btw, anyone knows where can i get some cheap Uranium ? I am kinda running low on it and would like to stack up on it in my basement

EDIT: Just noticed that my neighbors have moved out and the whole street is packing up too....means I will have all this space for myself gotta order couple more of those Nuclear Fission stuff.

btw, I used my AMEX BLUE card to order for that extra one year warranty that they give as this stuff only comes with 30 day warranty and after that, if anything breaks, no one will come and touch it.
