Can anyone fine X800 pros at Best Buy? Says in stock online, but every location in Houston shows it as not available
A lot of times when it says available for store pickup, the item can be "customer fulfilled" and delivered to the store for pickup or your house after you place the order in-store.
Why such the great prices?

Me too. I just got a email saying my VisionTek X800 XT has been shipped and they gave me my FedEx tracking number. Good price along with good service. It's the first time I have ordered from Microcenter and I must say I am very pleased. Thanks again.

You can unlock the last 4 pipes on a 6800, but you'll get artifacts, and the pipes are a bitch to close again.

I have an evga 6800nu and have unlocked all pipes and vertex shaders. Evga is one of the best 6800 cards you can buy because it can OC awesome on stock fan.
Not to mention that evga has the step up program, where you can upgrade your card.
Also the 6800GT in general has GDDR3 memory like the 6800 ultra. With a bit of experimenting and tweaking you can turn the 6800GT into an ultra, b/c a GT is just an underclocked ultra.

This is not true the pipes can be unlocked, and they arent a bitch to close again because rivatuner is a software mod.
Maybe you should try some research before stating something, look at this poll:

The entire forum is full of succesful 6800 unlock stories. Here's the specific ones to stay away from:

I hate it when people state something as true without doing the research. I have an evga 6800nu and have unlocked all pipes and vertex shaders. Evga is one of the best 6800 cards you can buy because it can OC awesome on stock fan.
