6800 PCI Prices and Availability

They were in stock, for 445$ i bought 2 at that price. The price jumped to 475, then to 525.

On Overclockers http://www.overclockers.co.uk/...y_of_6800_Series.html there is what appears to be an OEM (reference?) 6800 GT board in stock. It is listed as a OcUK GeForce 6800 GTo 256MB DDR3 Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - OEM (GX-022-OK)

The specs make it seem like a true 6800GT, but are features such as SLi compatibility ensured? Converted to USD, the price isn't bad either at $395.08. Any more info on this one?

OEM means that you get the card only, it's not like at the store when you pick up the retail box.

I may have a eVGA 6800 GT PCI Express for sale. I ordered and canceled my order and they STILL sent a shipping number. Numskulls! If I can't return it is anyone interested? The thing cost 499 with shipping and I am not looking to make a penny. Let me know just in case.

Nah but really I grateful because it is IMPOSSIBLE to find these cards. As soon as someone has them in stock they are gone. I was lucky to find some store online that happened to had a few back in stock oem. They were actually in stock and not backordered toward other customers. I couldn't believe it! I actually called the store to confirm and the lady I talked to on the phone said they had a few. She was nice and didn't seem to have a clue that most of the planet were hunting for these.

And yes it shipped cause I have a tracking number and it is actually in the mail headin toward my house.
Should I bother to let u guys know which store I got it from? They probably sold out by now anyway.

is this oem? it mentioned card only, and not sure what that entails.... does seem a little steep, but hey, when your the only company on the internet in stock.... guess you can do those kind of things

^^^^ Yes, I just did the "chat with a representative" over at Isquared. She told me it's the card only.

There's always a hitch with these things lately, huh? If it's not the gouged price, it's the site description "forgetting" to inform you it's OEM.

$475 for OEM....no drivers, no cable, no manual, no anything....seems steep.

I realize you really don't need any of those things as you can find them on your own, but getting gouged while having to find this stuff on your own seems crazy.

I'm sure they will sell out though.......
