Do you have to be so scepticle about everything?
I like how you focused on one part of my post, but ignored my own correction in the very same post:
Then again, the "Hardware Masked" bit seems to say something too that wouldn't be on a GT? Just making sure it's a GS!
I'm not the only person who believes in having proof before making claims of the next miracle. Even unlocking a card is NO PROOF that it is artifact-free and stable.
Appopin: please show more about the UNlocking and O/C'ing [proof that it IS unlocked] ... Dapunisher: I'd like to see more proof too. The screenies of it in RT do not tell us if it is artifacting or otherwise borked for actual use.
I hope you don't think everything should be taken at face value without confirmation. I like the old Reagan quote of "Trust, but verify". What's so horrible about that?
Oh , and I'm waiting for that other "White Elephant" to show up. When it does....be prepared to eat your words.
What "other" White Elephant? If you're going to quote people you better get it straight. I only said there was ONE White Elephant... and that's a 450MHz AGP 6800GS... I never called unlocking the GS a "White Elephant".
So when are you going to eat your own words about being so confident of the 100MHz faster stock AGP 6800GS? You're lucky that you can literally wait forever before eating your own words, always hoping for the day your White Elephant will come... because I have news for you... that day will not happen.
I'm sorry if you don't agree with people who like to have their feet firmly planted on the ground. I like proof before I buy... I like to see it before I am a believer in empty promises. I seem to recall somebody else around here swearing up and down that the AGP 6800GS will give EQUAL performance to a 6800U for $200... I have yet to see that a reality. Nonetheless, that person isn't eating their own words, now are they PC Surgeon?
