Can anybody tell me what the difference is between a 6800GT and a 6800 Ultra, besides the Ultra costing twice as much?

I was under the impression that 6800 Ultras had a clock speed of 425 MHz.

= fried card in a couple of months. the net's full of peeps griping about how they've had their gt's o/c'd for weeks and then all of a sudden they're artifacting and let's not forget that instead of sucking up the loss, some of those same people will rma it as a defective card thus creating loss's for those video card manufacturer's which in turn pass those losses's onto the rest of us in the form of higher prices . think people. you want faster? buy faster. ultra's can be had for msrp. you just have to do a little diggin' .gt + coolbits overclock + maybe bios voltmod

I can't really speak for the current line of video cards ( yet), but i've had my Geforce2 ti OC'd by about 20% for 2 years now, still perfectly fine. There's nothign wrong with wanting the most for your money.
