6800NU Overclock

I've got an Asus 6800NU that I've overclocked to 425/800 with no artifacting. What do you guys think of a 75/200 OC?

Did you try unlocking it as well? If so, that's pretty good.

If that's unlocked to 16x1/6 pipes, then yes, that's a very good OC. I maxed out at 400/800 3DMark stable once the pipes were unlocked.

Just the nvidia display control panel. When I upgraded to 71.89 I had to do the coolbits reg change. The pipes are not unlockable on a PCI-E 6800NU.

I got my Leadtek 6800NU PCI-E to 450/850 MHz stable. 3DMark05 of 5201 (high perf mipmaps) Running about 70 load, I believe. What about you? Is your card an AGP or PCI-E? Note: I do not run my card at these speeds regularly. They were my benchmarking speeds. I never had my PC crash when it was at that speed though. I just don't want to risk stuff, and I recommend you set it a little lower to be safe too. That was about the absolute maximum the "test changes" button let me O/C it. For now I run it at default. And it still runs any game at any setting I want very smooth, everything completely maxed out to hell, except for the very latest SM3.0 games which are still maybe 30 FPS at everything high, default clock speeds. F'ing amazing card.

It runs about 50C idle and 77C load. I'm looking into a 6800GT SLI setup. I was originally going to run 6800NU SLI but the 6800GT's are a better SLI setup. I reset it to default clocks, it's a PCI-E card. I don't use 3dmark05 because honestly, it sucks. I only use 3dmark03. I'm getting about 9700 on 3dmark03 running at 425/800. I'm going to retest now at stock speeds.

Holy moly! Stock speeds of 350/700 took 1400 points off my score of 9900 with 425/800. I think I'll keep it overclocked.

huh? 8500 on a 6800nu stock? i got around 9500 when mine was stock, 11000 now.

I unlocked and overclocked mine I got it up to 11300 3DMark03... then I fried it. =(

Yep. Are you sure you have only 12 pipes?

What are your "stock" clocks?

FWIW My 6800le scores 10k @12/6 375gpu 750memory not bad really
