The Link It works with any radio. Plug the Link It into ANY audio output, tune your radio to 88x and it will broadcast wirelessly from your portable MP3/CD player to that radio. I had a CD changer that did the same thing, and it worked flawlessly. The Link It fits in your pocket. I might get one to beam MP3's from my notebook to my home stereo.

Maverick, remember, that only saves you the trouble with one wire. You still need to worry with the power adapter wire for the player and the adapter for the thing you linked to, or buy batteries every once in a while.

edit: taking your edit into consideration, it would be cool if you want it other places besides your car.

It looks very promising at that price. Most of my MP3's(some 4,000) are 128kb's, which is basicly FM sterio quality anyway. I wonder if there would be any degregation in the transmission from the Link It to Receiver...?

What do you think the range on the Link It will be?

I think I saw it in Mobile Computing magazine, listed as a cool new product. It gave a MSRP of $29.99, but who knows what the price will be when it hits the street.

I would love to see one of these in action, and if it works as well as they claim, it is well worth 30 bucks.

Oh yeah, keeping Fragarific's post in mind,

I should have said you still have to plug in the AC adaptor or run the unit on batteries. For my vehicle, the DC plugin is less hassle than the cassette adaptor, and the cassette adaptor is in the way where the DC is not. I missed the boat not pointing that out sooner.
