Bummer, it looks like the price is now $24.50 plus $2.99 shipping. I've used a few CP Tech wireless PCMCIA cards and they've all worked great and have been supported in linux without hassle. I currently use a WPC-0500 with my aging Dell Latitude CPi 1GHz and have absolutely no complaints.

This particular card is nice because it doesn't have a "hump" on the end where the antenna is located. If your laptop has "stacked" PCMCIA slots you can put this card in the bottom slot and it will not obstruct the top slot.

EDITed to add: Hmm, this is listed on Buy.com's front page for $7.99 with free shipping, but if you click on the product link it is $24.50 plus $2.99 shipping. Can anyone figure out how to get this for cheap? I need a couple to install in some little industrial PCs that I own.

Thanks, bf1942, but when I click the link on Buy.com's front page the price is $24.50 plus shipping. It looks like it is out-of-stock at Buy.com and the listed price on the product page is from a different reseller.

EDIT: Howie's hawking a different product, now, so I guess the deal is over for the WPC-0500.
