He claims his father is descended from British royalty, which is certainly possible in that there are a lot of low-level royals in England. In general, he seems remarkably paranoid, socially inept and obsessively narcissistic. He was apparently under the treatment of a psychiatrist, at least at some point, and it would be interesting to know what diagnosis, if any, he was given. Based solely on the manifesto I would not be surprised if he was on the autism spectrum, but he clearly also had a deeply narcissistic and anti-social streak.
The "Day of Retribution" plans were very creepy. He had been planning the "Day of Retribution" since at least October 2013. In a nutshell, he bought two and perhaps 3 pistols, and planned to kill his roommates and as many other people as he could lure into his apartment and behead them. He would then use his father's SUV (which he painstakingly refers to as a Mercedes every time it is mentioned) to go on a killing spree, including running people down, perpetrating a mass killing in a particular sorority house, and brandishing the heads of his earlier victims to show people how dangerous he was.

Thanks for the synopsis, I've read somewhere he's been diagnosed with Aspergers. I wonder if the subject of his Aspergers is status, which would be rather interesting, given that the autistic-spectrum kids generally don't at all grasp social constructs as that.
NBC nightly news just gave the guy nearly have their night coverage. They played nearly all his videos and practically covered his life. Crazies see this as their only opportunity to get some recognition and the media complies.
