I don't understand what its like to have an actual drinking problem -- and believe me, I love to drink -- but I know that it can be a real problem for certain people.
I'm sorry that you are one of those people, and good on you for taking control of your life and deciding to deal with it. Congratulations.
Congrats rudeguy.
While most people are not alcoholics we all have our own forms of addiction. It could be anything from money to infidelity to weight any everything in between. Recognizing your problems them and acting on a plan to change are key for any successful recovery. I hope others are similarly motivated by your success to improve their lives.
By the way. God has nothing to do with this and neither does grace. YOU have earned this. YOU have worked hard. YOU are the one to be praised. Don't give responsibility and praise to something that doesn't exist, bruh. You are the one we're congratulating, not anyone else, because ultimately it is you and only you who controls your actions.
Congrats again
Was ThinClient banned because of this post? If so, I think that is pretty harsh. Perhaps just a warning would suffice?
Not sure if you've shared this part if your life before, good on ya man. I'm sure most of us have had our lives impacted by this vice. Stay strong, maybe some day you can celebrate with one of us and have a not-beer
May God bless you and keep you.
He has to an extent. As I recall he had issues with the law, maybe a DUI or two...it's so good to see someone who recognizes that things have gotten out of control and there are more important things (lil Rude) that should be your primary focus.
I know it doesn't mean anything because we don't know each other, but I really am proud of you Rude. I can tell you're a good dude.
