Good luck, the 470hp srt comes with 245 ALL SEASON tires.
They certainly didn't when I bought mine back in 2011. They came with the atrocious GY Eagle F1 Supercar tires.
i'm impressed ... 10.85 @ 126.18 mph is pretty darn good for a stock car these days

Trap speed with drag radials and a company provided video is 1 MPH slower than the trap speeds that some GT500 drivers got on their crappy stock goodyear eagle f1 supercar G2s.... Obviously, ET was about .4s better on the radials, but that should give you an idea of the performance of its biggest strength (challengers, especially automatics have always fared far better at drag racing than at anything else) compared to a 2 year old ford with a manual and awful drag racing gearing if you know much about drag races.
impressive nonetheless ... and they were on NT555R's "drag radials" ... hardly a drag radial. now if they were on NT05r's, that'd be a different story
p.s. i know some very good manual drivers ... ranger for example has gone 10.7's in a bone stock c6z06 w/ just drag radials.
Specially the 8 speed ZF. I'll take that over any manual.Granted, but there is a world of difference between those and F1 supercars (the gt500 stock tire).
Yes, but all things being equal, the automatic car is typically going to be at an advantage in a drag race due to the far easier and consistent launching.

Not really, no. The advantage is from launching. requiring more shifts does not make a better drag car.
Do you know how many gears purpose built drag cars use? If I recall correctly it is 2. If it were beneficial to add in a bunch of shifts, don't you think they would?
edit: oops. I looked it up. Things like top fuel dragsters don't have a tranny at all. Just a clutch.
Brand most likely to be driven by aging alcoholics? Check!
The only people driving this are going to be balding fat retirees bragging how they can smoke "dem eurotrash" at stoplights.
I love wretched excess! It's an American Icon. They should offer an all chrome option.
Meh, still an ugly car......it's no GT500. I'm sure a pulley swap and a tune on a GT500 would put it north of 700hp easily......still for far less than the Challenger will cost no doubt.
I am guessing the Challenger to come in around no less than 70k
Of course it's all subjective opinion, but the SRT Challenger is much better looking than the gaudy GT500 (or any other Mustang...)Meh, still an ugly car......it's no GT500.

And then we can tune the Hellcat...
