CD Projects case with bubble 72 sleeves AND 48 Pengo CDR's (650mb 74 min) were 14.99. Everything was in one box. This was a featured item. The case is solid black and looks nice.

I have a CD-Project CD Wallet and I have to say that it really blows. The little sleeves fall out too often :|

Stay away from these wallets if you are going to be using it often. The sleeves fall out often, and once they fall out they hardly stay on the bind. It might be ok if you are using it for long term storage but be gentle.

Yeah I agree...getting out of chairs and driving/walking/riding to Office Max is terrible. I think ALL products should be offered online!!! Then you don't have to make small talk with the cashier either.

<< WTF is Brick & Mortar? >>

Most people shorten this to BM, which is generally understood as Brick and Mortar, which means a solid store you can actually drive to and go inside. As opposed to the pie in the sky Buy.coms and so forth. Another good one is MIR, for mail in rebate. Or AR, for after rebate. Or PM, for price match. These shortened versions are real handy in the post title so people know how many hoops they have to jump through for the deal. Generally if I see PM, I am not inclined to check the deal out, as I feel too much like a beggar.

I went to OM B&M this evening planning to buy this, but after peeking at one in an open box, I took a pass. I know that it's only $10, but man is the case cheap. What I didn't like especially was the cd sleeves. I wouldn't like using them. Also, the cd's are two stacks and vacuumed packed together. I don't care about jewel cases, but it didn't even look like it had a spindle for them, so what do you do with the extra cd's when you open the vacuum pack? Do you store all the blanks in your cd wallet? Also, the cdr's look to be the cheapest generic cd's that I've seen. They are similar to the store brands that I see at Circuit City and Comp USA. I don't know.. They might be fine, but I wouldn't trust any sensitive data to them, that's for sure.

I don't know if I'm getting spoiled by all of the deals here, but I just didn't think that this was all that great of a deal even for $10. Sorry to thread crap. Make your own judgements about this case and cdr's. I'm just giving you my impressions.

Edit: I just noticed that this deal thread is for $15. These CDR's and case were $10 at my local OfficeMax in Vernon Hills, IL. They had a ton of them too.

Please, when copying and pasting someone's post, please:

1) Copy in its entirety
2) Mention that you are taking it from somewhere else

Important details were left out of my message that was posted on chubby billfold, so here it is

Went into two officemax stores today (Houston) looking for the Iomega 10x12x32 - they were sold out.

The bright side: Came across this deal: CD Projects case with bubble 72 sleeves AND 48 Pengo CDR's (650mb 74 min) were 14.99. Everything was in one box. This was a featured item. The case is solid black and looks nice.

UPC 736729751939

This is very close to the deal that staples has a while back, but their case held 48 and was purple AND it involved a MIR.

EDIT - Price is now 9.99

I saw that you did the same thing on the Compusa handspring message.
