No, it's $ 90 ($ 70 + $ 20) rebate. $ 20 one is by WD, so I believe it shouldn't be much hassle. $ 70 is by onrebate.com. Also, TD now guarantees all advertised rebates.. But I don't know why I still can't believe them

I got my Maxtor rebate that also used onrebate which i bought from TD about 2 months after I submitted my rebate.

onrebate.com has been great in getting TD rebates processed. I see nothing to worry about as long as you can fill out the form properly.

I think many people dislike TD is because TD gives them a lot of problems regarding rebates.

Anyone jumping in on this? I don't know about two rebates.. I swore of rebates a long time ago, now two, from a questionable vendor from what I've heard? I don't know. Maybe newegg's $135 price after one $20 rebate is a better deal.

Checked their Statement: "We Guarantee all Advertised Rebate", then why so many people got ripped off.

I can think of 3 possible reasons

1. they straight up don't honor the rebate, and people don't have the wherewithall to sue
2. customers fail to make copies and file proof of rebate requests
3. the rebate rules are complex and result in invalid rebate requests

Both rebates say they require the original UPC label, not to mention OEM drives don't even come with a UPC label at all, there just the hard drive and nothing else.

there are so many things wrong with this deal it is redickulous, i guess this is why Tiger Direct denies so many rebates, because they can't even make a rebate form that makes logical sense, so how can you submit a proper rebate.
