Walmart has a $100 GC for people that missed out on this one...pretty much the same deal depending on your state tax.

And you can flip the GC.

PS3 isn't more just BD player for me with some extra features. Considering that most BD players are under $150 now why pay more? If I will play games, it will be extra expense from my pocket which supposes to cover console cost for the manufacturer.

It looks like a good suggestion, since Amazon deal gone and all my local Walmarts OOS as well. Will watch for a good deal for Samsung network BD player with WiFi.

Confirmed, i spoke to customer service, and they said they would immediately give me a $25 credit. amazon rocks. I got the PS3 for $200, especially since i'm using the $100 credit to buy presents for other people!

on a side note, I used my sony rewards visa to and get even more points, going to submit a credit request which would essentially get my PS3 for free

I didn't see it anywhere with a $100 gift card anymore, but e-mailed anyways just asking for amazon credit because I buy a lot of stuff there anyways and they gave me it without any links to it or anything.

Amazon was initially offering the ps3 for $299.99 with a $75 credit for future Amazon purchases. This deal expired, but Amazon later brought in a new deal ($100 credit, also expired now) to match Walmart's $100 gift card with purchase of a ps3. He bought during the first deal, but Amazon was willing to credit him the $25 difference, so he received $100 total credit for the ps3. Technically he didn't pay $200 out-the-door, but for many people Amazon credit is almost as good as cash.

No, I had the console from Amazon with the $75 GC. I meant that I had no valid links to show them that there was a sale with a $100 GC, just my word, and they accepted it.
