You thought the PS2, XBOX, and Gamecube were going to be 75% off?

Just came back from Target, got two (yes, 2) shopping carts of toys, plus several on my hands, couple on daughter's hands, for a little over $100. Since they are all elec. (talking, moving) toys, guess I can play them also. Can't wait to see the robot dog chasing the robot cat chasing the robot mouse. (those three cost $15 total)

75% off lego sets? that's worth checking out.

I like that idea of the robot dog chasing the robot cat chasing the robot mouse. maybe I'll get that for my daughter too.

Just saved over $1000! Walked right at 8am opening time and grabbed about $370 in toys, some great deals on a bunch of lego sets (some originally 60-100) and the i-cybies for 44 (they still had like 10 more). Thanks for the heads up.

dumaflitchy = a talking watchamacallit

Also, I forgot to mention that the best toy I got for myself (yea, I'm 42 and re-living my youth) was a furry Caddyshack Gopher that is supposed to dance. It really does look just like the one on the movie. The batteries are dead I suppose from everyone pushing it's button on the shelf.

I went and surprised to see many going to cashier with full carts of toys.
Didn't see any Lego on the shelves though. Got myself an I-cybie.

rebuilder,

I want to grow up and be just like you... problem is that I just got back and have too many cool toys to start acting like an adult again!!!

Thanks for the HOT tip.

BTW I'll probably end up giving them to my daughters 'cause they will cry if they see me having all the fun. Sometimes the little one bites, so there is that to think about.

Outstanding tip. Anyone know where to score a deal on batteries for all of this stuff?

Got back from going to a couple Targets. Picked up several Playskool things for my two year old daughter (a sit-n-spin=$4, Playskool Little people garage=$6,cobbler bench=$4).

Most of the stores I went to still had i-cybie's for $45 but they've been that cheap around here for over a week so I already have a couple.

Only saw a couple lego sets on clearance. they were both some kind of adventure set.

There were A LOT of the cyber pets (like all the different versions of the Chi pets). They were all $3-5 for the Chi's (don't let your kid take these into the car. They NEVER stop beeping! very annoying... My wife threw the ChirpyChi against the car's back window last time it was in the car, but it just kept on chirping...)

There were some RC cars (but nothing as good as the $15 Hummer from Amazon last year...).

Lots of Britney Spears dolls and some Barbie's.

It's a good time to buy next Christmas' gifts...

Haven't found any i-cybie hacks yet. Tiger is supposed to come out with an updated software card that goes into the side slot and a self charger/docking station.

Well no hacks yet for the normal person, but if you have a lot of free time check out this site, it has some cool stuff, but nothing really easy to because the Tiger programming stuff isn't released yet. But anyways, there are some cool pics of I-cybies guts, and a pretty cool program studies I-cybies programmed stunts.

I really hope that Tiger releases the programming kit or at least the programming code. It seems like I-cybie didn't do well the x-mas season, anyone have any industry reports that I-cybie is in danger?? I

Oh yeah, there is a yahoo groups I-cybie group (I heard), haven't searched for it yet, but tried to sign up for a msn based group last night, but the sing up kinda baffled me, not sure if I'm in it, or if it still exists...

You might double check your Best Buy to see if they might have an I-Cybie left. I picked up one today for $20.60. So I guess I'll be taking back the $45 dollar one from Target.

What does everyone think of their I-Cybie? I played with mine alittle and am already bored with it. I'm debating if I should return it or not.

Yea, it's amusing for a little while and then it gets old. My kids think it's cute but you can tell this toy will be collecting dust in a few weeks.

I'm glad I only paid $20, I would definitely have returned it had I paid more.
