$750 & Under Gaming PC

Well pretty much i am looking to build a "mid" - "low" lvl Gaming PC.. nothing to fancy just enough to get by in the gaming world.. If somebody could help me out and maybe post some good rigs it would be greatly appreciated. ohh im looking more towards AMD just b/c its a little cheaper but thats about it anything would work : P

I've got one for sale that with addition of a video card would be a decent gamer.

You might also fair better to check out the For Sale/Trade forum and make your $750 go a bit further than retail.

You'd have better luck posting in the "General Hardware" forum. At any rate, you can probably go for an AMD quad core with a 5770 for that budget. I "refreshed" my HTPC with an AMD Athlon II x4, a Gigabyte board, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, a new power supply, and an aftermarket CPU HSF for under $400. You can get a case, 5770, a hard drive, and a DVD to add on top of that and still stay well under $750. Obviously, if you already have some of these components to reuse (such as the optical drive or hard drive), you can put the extra money towards a faster CPU, better vid card, etc.
