EVGA 750GTX 1GB (Not the Ti) vs EVGA 560TI SSC 1GB

Thanks to a generous RMA upgrade from EVGA (after having to do it twice) I found myself with the above configuration choice. Now after revisiting reviews and real world usage from this past weekend I've come to the following conclusions.

1) Both card perform very close. Close enough to call it a tie with the 750 having slightly better min FPS. This is the general consensus among reviews and didn't come as a surprise.

2) The 750 kills with temperature and power draw. Again no surprise.

*3) What I didn't expect though was the large difference when dealing with multi-monitor setup. The 560 Ti came out the clear winner here. I assume the larger memory bandwidth of the 560 allows this because watching video and playing a game on my second monitor didn't cause stuttering like the when I had the 750 installed.

So I'm sticking with the 560Ti in my main rig... now with an even better understanding on just how badly I need to upgrade from sub 750 levels

**The 750 is a replacement from an old 8800GT

What happens with the 750 if you choose "prefer max performance" in the nv control panel? Does it improve the situation? Did you check gpu core/vram clock rate with msi ab? Stranger things have happened.

I used the exact same settings when using both cards. It was just a hardware swap. Before and after the swap I ran ARK in one display and a video using VLC in the other display. With the 750 the video was full of artifacts and performed poorly unless it held focus and with the 560 it played great either way. Are you alluding to a feature on the 750 that needs to be unlocked?

Did you confirm it was the same driver for both cards? When I swapped my 960 into my Titan X machine, I was VERY surprised that it reverted to a previous older driver!!!

I would choose 560Ti, more stable gpu, wider bandwith, lowe temp, etc... not better then gtx 750 but in slight adventage for me.

Only problem with 560ti are driver updates (I had those problems and I heard others also had that problem).Drivers caused them to be unstable and crashing
