Does anyone know when Anand's 760MP review will be out? I'm not sure on the release date or when the NDA is lifted.

This suspicious thread at Ace's Hardware indicates the release is close. Hardware NDAs are usually lifted on mondays, so I'm guessing it's either next week (5/28) or in two weeks (6/4). Either way, it's not soon enough - the 760MP is without a doubt the technically most interesting chipset coming out in the near future.

Hey guys, I was wondering, will a current AMD T-bird support SMP. I would like to upgrade an old system with an AMD 1GHz and later on replace the MB to a dual processor system but I don't want to buy a processor now that doesn't support SMP. Anyway, does anyone know the answer to this question? Thanks

If the stuff I've been reading so far are true, Thunderbird Athlon and even Duron is SMP capable.

It appears that current Thunderbird processors (while not officially supported in an SMP environment by AMD) *will* work on 760MP-based boards. We'll just have to wait and see.

Anyone know if there will be any other offerings than the Tyan. I'm just hoping for a less featured less costly alternative. I think it was $760 when converted from Deutschmarks which will put a big hit on the pocketbook if the price doesn't come down.
