Hello all, I'm running a 7790 for about 6 months now, no issues until yesterday. I noticed a fan spinning high speed in the case so I pulled off side panel and it was the GPU fan, after running 100% it stops completely. I opened Speccy and saw GPU temp at 80C!. Seems that the AMD software is waiting until the card is about to melt and turns on the fan but after opening Catalyst control center it showed fan speed at 30% but when I looked it was totally stopped. Do these fans go bad (and only respond to the full 100% on voltage) or do you think it's a software issue? I DL'ed MSI Afterburner which will run the fan 100% on command but when you try 50-60% it's dead Jim. Any thoughts/suggestions greatly appreciated..
