great, another twit who cant read....

I can read, and here's what I've come up with.

You don't own modern hardware or play modern games

You're basing your opinion (which you're entitled to) on things you've read about AMD GPU's. I don't doubt you've read such things. However, it's also a fact you've read the opposite (this thread alone is proof of that)

Why (in your opinion) are the negative things you've read true, and the positive things you've read and are reading, false?

I'll go ahead and rephrase so that you can't nitpick and go off on tangents.

Why (in your opinion) are the negative things you've read true, and the positive things you've read and are reading, luck?

Notice how the context of what I'm asking you, is identical? For someone who's insulting other people intelligence, I'm surprised you couldn't figure out what I was asking you initially.

Did you miss where I said I also support those that do have modern GPUs, and lets get it straight, I'm the one on the receiving end of the bullying, having to justify my opinion, and getting insulted for not providing bullet point issues like I'm some sort of nerd who keeps a diary of problems...It wasn't me who claimed the lucky AMD guy. As far as I am aware, I'm allowed my opinion on these forums and dont have to put up with abuse from those that disagree.

If you think it's abuse when people ask you to provide proof (or even a specific list) of your claims, I don't know what to tell you. Of course you can state your opinion but don't be surprised when people ask for verification when you make blanket statements. Especially when you don't own the hardware in question.

You are allowed your opinion. I'm allowed to ask you to clarify, you don't have to answer, but I can ask. If you think that's abuse, you'll just have to make friends with that problem.

Multiple people said they don't have issues, you're saying maybe they're just lucky. I'm asking you why is it you think they're lucky? Why can't it be that those that have problems are unlucky? What makes one luck, and the other the norm to you?

This is the third time I've asked. The first time you decided to avoid the question by nitpicking individual words in my post that had zero bearing on what I was asking you. (yet by your own words, you're not the anal one)

The second time I rephrased so you couldn't nitpick words, and you avoided the question by playing the victim even though you're the one talking crap about hardware and claiming that people have reading comprehension issues.

You're the one talking "negatively"
You're the one not backing it up
You're the one tossing mild insults
You're the one playing the victim
You're the one who's "not anal" yet nit picking words in posts

Yeah, ok... There are some glaring issues in this thread, and the common denominator is pretty obvious.

I wonder if for the next series NV will stay conservative and wait another 12 months to launch a 550mm2 Maxwell? If NV releases the large die Maxwell right away, then we'd be looking at 50%+ more performance over the 780 by possibly summer of 2014. That would be spectacular.

What really worries me is that they'll charge $1,000 USD (or more) for it, now that they've seen that there's a market for such a product.

The Titan did better than what Nvidia expected, so there is that. Remember, the GTX 480 was a very large chip too, but despite it's sheer size, it went for $500 USD and even then was a poor deal at time time (the 5870s were going for ~$400 USD).
