ps. I've seen some janitors that drive really nice cars but it doesn't make them an expert on them. If you didn't understand, my reference to janitor had nothing to do with income but how little or ignorant you are about the industry you are in.

Capt Caveman, attacking my knowledge isn't going to get you anywhere (or my resources, for that matter). As it turns out, I do in fact have a pair of 7800 GTs as well, but why would I invest the time in doing personal tests to saciate you? There's no reason for it.

Since the mods seem to have a hard-on for me as of late, perhaps I should forward off your comments and see what they have to say.

Noted that other sites that have done the work for us, but blatant skewing of the results really doesn't correlate to fact, wouldn't you say? Take the time, like I did, and use ALL available information, and do the comparisons (hell, I might even do it myself). Or, when you have all the hardware, do it yourself. (and when I have all the hardware, I may in fact do it, not for you, but for my personal benefit, and I *may* share those results).

You can dish it out but can't take it? Sad. And if you have the cards to test, why don't you prove us wrong with some screenies? My guess is that you'd realize that you're wrong b/c I have no doubt if you could prove your conclusion, you would. When one article is contradicted by a dozen others, wouldn't you think that there might be wrong with that one article? Common sense? Please provide how the other articles are skewing the results. And what do you do in the industry?

You've stated that you're using Anandtech's data and refute all others since this is Anandtech's forum, when did you use all available informatin, I think you have it in reverse b/c I'm the one using all available information.

if you look on monarchcomputer.com, you'll see the MSI 7800GTX 256mb going for $464. That is a big price drop. I'm hoping that all the 256mb versions will drop to a price similar to this.
