I thought about doing that for my AGP Socket 754 AMD but then I thought about possibly having to fight driver issues becuase it would be a different chipset. Once I swapped between mobo chipsets no problem but the next time was a week long saga and it never seemed right until a complete re-install of the OS.

I'll just wait till for the next AMD platform coming up later this year before doing a complete upgrade and by then a another next generation video card will probaly be available anyway.

Maybe the post title should be updated to say "AGP" somewhere in order to minimize confusion/out of place posting.
I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest you will find an AGP 7800GS card at the moment as I've been wishfully looking around recently.
