7800GTX 512MB and 1920x1200

I have a XFX 7800GTX 512MB XXX edition... and a Dell 20.1" LCD monitor.

I am thinking of getting the Dell 24" 2405FPW monitor, which is recommended to be at 1920x1200 resolution.

The problem is... When I look at my display settings with my current setup, the maximum it goes up to is 1600x1200... Does this mean it will not support 1920x1200, and if so, how can that be with one of the best graphics cards out there today...

My 6800GT does up to 2048x1536...

1920x1200 will be an option as soon as you plug the 2405 in.

This is because the native resolution of your monitor is 1600x1200 . . .

I have the 2405 and my 7800GTX 256 ran 2d immediately at 1920x1200 but gaming was another issue .
