Sure you did. I dont agree with you, and you said; "I can only assume that it would take an idiot to come to any other conclusion."
As of now, its obviously is. However, its not about now, its about "Christmas time", as he said.
Try reading what I said, from my post which has not been edited-
Wouldn't the fact that there is no X1K Crossfire previews available yet, by default, indicate that the widely available for a long time nV multi GPU route is proven to be superior as of right now? I can only assume that it would take an idiot to come to any other conclusion.
You yourself in your post agree with what I stated and can somehow twist that around to say I'm calling you an idiot? I'll explain something to you- if person A says something, and then person B says something else- you can not say well if I take this part of what person A said and this part of what person B said then person B is insulting me- language doesn't work that way.
So you say. The drivers show the temp, obviously the drivers do something.
MSI used the internal diode to report temps on AXP CPUs for some time. They reported them accurately, but everyone thought there was some major issue with their parts as they were reporting temperatures significantly higher then all the other mobos which used the under socket thermal probes. MSI "fixed" this by reporting temps ~20 degrees cooler then what they were actually reading to bring them in line. Did that change the CPU temp in the slightest bit? Nope. It just made a lot of people think it was running cooler.
When he said, "would be the card to get for Christmas". Obviously the only other card to compare it to, is an ATi card.
First off, he said "I think" to preface that statement- you should try and not take things out of context. Next, seems to me he could have been talking about the 7800GT based on the comments he made. Now in subsequent posts he has since made his point clearer, but one shouldn't jump to conclusions based on assumptions. Also- are you stating for fact that we will even see x1k Crossfire available at retail prior to Christmas?
Its neither trolling or thread crapping.
Thread title still lacks anything about ATi parts, I just checked. If you don't want to discuss the 512MB GTX then why bother posting? If you want to start a thread touting the virtues of the glory of ATi and all that is encompasses start another thread.
