7900 GTO distorts video colors but everything else is fine. Thoughts?

Ever since I got this new setup video colors are highly distorted. I have the newest Nvidia driver (9.1.4.7) and everything else looks fine (pictures, game etc). My setup specs:

E6300
Gigabyte DS3
eVga 7900 GTO
Syncmaster 215tw (it's not the monitor, I had a different Viewsonic hooked up initially)
2x1GB Buffalo Tech chips
Some other stuff

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Are your overlay color settings reasonable? Perhaps they need to be defaulted, as was the case with many of the NVIDIA drivers?

Disable the overlays in WMP.

My Quadro FX 1500M has a very noticable dark red hue when using overlay playback. Haven't tried to fix it yet.

NV's default overlay saturation is 114%. Why I have no idea. Try sliding it down to 80% or so and check it.

Where exactly do I find this setting? I won't be home until later in the week but I want to fix this issue as soon as I return .

I don't use WMP for videos, though everything is dark there as well.

Is this option in the Nvidia Control Panel? I should also mention that I do increase the brightness in the Control Panel but as soon as I reboot it goes back to being dark. Even with the slightly increased brightness the video clarity isn't there.

It's the 91.47 drivers for color overlay, as suggested above. Right click the green nvidia icon in the tray near the clock.
Then make your way to the nvidia menu -- strongly suggest Classic NVIDIA Control Panel view.
In the classic control panel, select Color Control option.
There is a drop down menu which allows you to select 'Apply color changes to...' and you choose 'Overlay'.
Then adjust brightness and gamma as you see fit. Your gamma is probably0.501 and should be at 1.00.

Yep, thats the problem. Its quite widespread, you can also just use older drivers, i think the 91.33's work fine.
