7950gx2 temperature levels

Doing a simple google search I've seen quite a few guys having problems with their monster gx2 video card. Most of them reffered to high temperatures under load causing a slowdown. I thought this is a good forum where people can share their experience and come up with viable solutions to these kind of questions. So....

Based on the sensor readings of the foreware driver, what are the normal running temperature of the 7950gx2 at idle and under heavy load.

To start off, my readings are:
52 degrees in idle
76 degrees (titan quest full detail); 72 degrees (Prey full detail); 68 degrees (HL2, CS:S and DoD:S no AA, w/ trilinear filtering)

Give your input. Remarks and questions....

Personally my GX2 idles at 52 degrees and under load about 68 degrees. (UT2k4)

I have seen it fluctuate the idle and load temps with different Forceware drivers.
Which almost doesnt sound right. But true.

91.47- Lower Temps 52 idle 68 under load.
92.91- Higher Temps 60+ idle 74 under load.

I personally feel the only thing holding this card back is its drivers.
All in all the card plays anything I have thrown at it, and am happy with the card.

But ultimately I still think this card has unseen potential with proper support.
With DX10 and Vista on the horizon, driver support for this specific card should only increase.

Sorry I can't add my temps, but I overclock mine and don't have any problems.

Has any of you found an "official" statement to what should be the NORMAL working temperatures of this card (in idle and load) ???

Im ordering mine on Saturday, but everything I have read from the review sites all say that placing an extra fan over the card is some good insurance for cooling. Ill have a spare Vantec Stealth that ill be adding to my Soprano. As soon as I get my new rig assembled Ill give you the low down.

Edit: Found this review for the EVGA Im getting, but Im guessing that it should be relavent to all other makes of the 7950 GX2.
