It should work OK. The unit has 360W on the +12V, and your setup will draw around 300W max while gaming.

Don't overclock (not the CPU nor the GPU) and don't increase the power limit, as you're already pushing the 430W unit a little much. I'd also caution against running any form of stress test application like Furmark or OpenCL / GPGPU application just to be safe.

At the first sign of PSU related trouble, get it replaced. It would not be wrong to replace it straight away with a 500+ watt unit.

It'll honestly barely cut it but should run. The 7950 is one of the more energy efficient amd cards.

With nothing OCed it should be OK, but it should be the first thing you check if you have any hardware trouble.

Thank you guys.
I forgot to mention, that I also have a DVD Burner (LG GH22NS70). Is it relevant?

Here is a picture of the power supply:

Would an Antec EarthWatts 500W be enough for a 7950 3GB (800/1250, not overclocked) card, in a rig with a G3258 @ 3.8Ghz? No DVD drive, one exhaust fan, two SSDs, PCI-E N150 card, USB3.0 AC1200 wifi, and a self-powered USB3.0 dual HDD dock.

I had a STOP 0x101 error 4-5 days ago, and a hard freeze last night. Currently clocking my G3258 @ stock right now.

I do DC (BOINC) on both the GPU and CPU. GPU temps, highest I've seen with GPU-Z is 71C, highest CPU temp with CoreTemp is 75C.

Plain-jane ATX tower case, no front intake, 120mm exhaust.

I had almost that exact system. Only I had my 965BE overclocked to 4GHz. And my 7950 was clocked at 1100/1400.

I measured a peak of ~460W at the wall using a kill-o-watt while playing 64 player BF4. If you do not overclock the CPU or GPU, Its down at around ~390W. Which is still cutting it very close with that PSU.

I did have a 430W Antec, and got constant crashing under load. I threw in an Antec NEO-Eco 520C (rebranded seasonic) and its been flawless. Using the same PSU in my current Intel system which draws about 60W less.
