Looks like with Drum aboard we have a 10-team league. We gonna keep the buy-in at $25 or raise it to $30 to keep the payouts level? I'd personally prefer bigger ante and pot (even up to $50) but understand if others don't share that preference.
TJ, is the draft order going to be set soon?
I'll try to solicit 2 more owners so we have 12 but I wouldn't be opposed to bumping the buyin in to $30 with 10 teams. I'd prefer a larger buy in but I don't think the majority would.
In regards to the draft order, I heard a cool thing the other day- teams are selected randomly and then based on that order they can pick their draft spot
ie;
Glenn you draw the #1 ticket. You can choose to pick 1-10 and you choose #2. The next team with the #2 ticket chooses draft slot #5 etc etc
Does this sound like something you guys would like to do?
Open to whatever but it seems like random assignment would be easier due to fewer moving parts. Maybe next year we can try it the other way and base it on order of dues payment; hopefully that will get everyone paid-up in a more timely fashion.
