Definitely pay the extra for the DLC.

- Moxxi adds a bank where you can store items you aren't using right now
- Knoxx is fun and different from the core game, including new enemies and weapons and some good levels.

... I'm finishing up Knoxx now before moving on to Zed and Robolution.

you really should buy the GOTY. for 2:50 more, you're getting another 1.5 games.

Just about the only DLC that is completely worth the cost.

i play it almost completely in single player. I like it that way, but co-op is a blast.

the missions are varied enough, and characters are great to keep repetition at bay.

if you seriously get into it though--you'll really get into looting, and so repetition is inevitable at that point.

What he said.... the GOTY includes every DLC that exists for this game and there will not be anymore made (from what I've read). However, Borderlands 2 has been announced, though will probably be at least a year before it's released (pure speculation on my part).

Do you like FPS games? Do you like/love loot-based games (Diablo, Titan Quest, etc.)? If you answered YES to both these questions, you will most likely LOVE Borderlands.

This is such an awesome game and a ridiculously good value at $7.50 for the GOTY edition. Get it!
