Compusa Milford refuses as well. She said in their term/condition disclaimer : Not responsible for typographical error. Oh well. I never shop in Compusa. Their store are just plain s**k.

This is the first time I had set foot in one in ~1 year. Last time I bought something there it was a defective power supply that shorted and fried my whole system. Ahh well. Back to shopping online.

CT Department of Consumer Protection told me to call or write CompUSA Corporate and tell them and that they generally ask consumers to try to go directly to the Corporate offices these days.

Meh. Dunno, unless I get inspired I think I'm done and will just continue not shopping at CompUSA

I say write them and get that manager reprimanded for trying to make his own rules. You'll be doing him a favor, it will be a life lesson for him and sometime in the future, he'll be nicer to someone. I absolutely hate people that give attitude and think they are better than you.

Thing is because it was posted on the Internet, the manager did at at least a little bit of wiggle room. And he used every inch of it.

It was the same manager that refused to do anything other than provide me with a new power supply when the defective one blew up my system. Hence, done shopping there.

I might still get inspired though.

So he didn't believe it was legit? Use their computer in the store and show him!

No he said that since it was posted on the Internet, and not in a local paper or something, it did not count for CT's advertising law.

im in CT too, did they increase the prices?? Your prices are much lower then the link you provided..

Also the law states that is unfair if u advertise the After Rebate price only if there is no listing of the rebates available, but u see that right under neath. Please clarify, or did they fix the link?
