8.8 Earthquake hits Japan

That's pretty heartwarming to me. I had a hard time sleeping last night when I watched [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3K1w7u04Zo&hd=1&t=127s"]this poor guy get taken right before hitting bed. I dreamt of my own cats being trapped and drowning.

I have to say props to that news station for cutting away instead of showing the deaths. I wish some of the news stations in this country would show the same level of respect.

Pretty amazing how civilized they all are under this crisis. I heard that the gov't was planning on creating rolling blackouts due to the power shortage but they didn't have to b/c everyone has reduced their electrical usage. And even after waiting for hours in line for food and water, people are still recycling the plastic water bottles and disposing of their trash properly.
