The quake isn't a problem, they are prepared for that, but you can't prepare against a tsunami. Was watching CNN and they were showing live feeds from Japan. Coastal towns had no warnings, tsunami rolled over them ruthlessly. Watching the tsunami traverse over land, houses, and cars with people in them was pretty crazy. After gathering a crapton of mud, debris, and whatever else it picked up in its path, it looked like a giant fast moving blob monster eating everything up while people are driving away in a panic, some being trapped.

I am not so hopeful... there wasn't really much time for the coastal people. :\

I guess a good thing was it happened 2:44 in the afternoon. People were awake and could possibly start fleeing asap.
