i must disagree with the above statement, obviously there is a demand for these, i too bought extras, and do i stand to profit majorly from these?
NO. reason being? compusa has these i think for 79.99 in store special this week. after purchasing them at 53.99 + 3.19 = 57.18 + shipping (depends on how shipped and how far) $5 to $10 lets say $7 = $64 + box and time addressing and packing, cashing money order or cashier check = 68 - 75 = $7 bucks, maybe $17 if they got them with a coupon hmmm not much profit in that now is there?

maybe some of us just heard the plea of others and might want to help out, nah that couldn't be it. and since these boards are kind of a clan, lol why not help out your fellow members instead of leaving them for the masses, or the next guy who comes and buys them all.

okay, i havent got in on this deal yet, but i would really like to, problem is monday thru thursday i got shcool plus work from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. At this rate i fear they will be sold out by the time i get a chance to get one on friday

well it seems people are still having problems finding the printable coupon. It'll redirect you to an image stating the details of the coupon. Print this out and i might suggest you to write the promotional code that i PM you on it also.

Yeah, I picked one up (GPS Companion) for ~$80 (marked down from $149). I then used a $10 coupon, and I was very excited to see a $50 rebate coupon print out after my receipt. I have only played with it a little bit, but it works wonderfully so far. (Not bad for a $60 GPS!)

If you find one in any OD, have it scanned to see what the price is. Don't forget to use a coupon.

Meanwhile, has anyone figured out what to do with the Glenayre device? Is it useful for anything (without paying $26/mo)?

I called skytel today and they have a plan for $19. I don't travel much and am able to get online as much as I want at home so an " interactive messenger" for $19 a month is a little much for me. A pager would be cheaper or a cell phone would be more useful. I think it has a cell phone module. It has a lot of stuff to add on at the Handspring site but boy is that stuff expensive!

ok, i went to my od today, and although they were out of stock, they located one for me and put it on hold. my question is, that sku number turned out to be something like "internet device", which is the glenayre activelink. are you guys sure this includes the 8 meg visor deluxe as well????

yes it does include the visor as well.

reading the box you would not really know this and i have a feeling that is why they did not sell well, everyone just thought they were the module by itself!

I know there were still two for sale at the Pineville NC OD Thursday at 10:00 am. You might call and see if they would ship them. I purchased two and plan to keep one for kicks. Does anybody use the service? How does this compare with other palm device internet access services?

If I am reading it correctly from Glenayre.com, which sends me to wolftech.com I can get free services anytime, all the time for things like stock quotes?

Any information about this would be helpful...
