You want a great camera? I just picked up a Canon A610. It isnt petite, but its tremendous. Focuses super quick - not that hunting back and forth, zooming in and out nonsense. 5.1 MP and 4x optical zoom with SD memory. Also the startup speed and refresh between shots is great. Played with one at Staples and it blew everything else out of the water.

Dell has a sale on now on Canon cameras. Originally $299, marked down to $224 shipped (with a code from a "very warm deals" site). On top of that, if you play the Dell game referenced elsewhere in these forums, you can get a $20 off $200 coupon that is stackable. Made my price $204 (plus tax on top).

Bought it with my platnium credit card and added extra year warranty, awesome price for this great camera. Very high reviews from the camera review sites.

i thought vivitar used to make those $30~50 cheap ass cameras. but one thing i have to say about this camera is it includes 64MB SD card which the very new $353 Canon SD30 only has one small 16MB. what is canon thinking...

Yeah...Canon must have bought a lot of those 16MB cards way back when and is still trying to unload them.... 64 really isn't too much better.

Vivitar is pretty low quality because they just rebrand the lowest bidder from what I've been told.
