Has anyone notice that the on-line rebate only ask for
WD Capacity label cut from the front of the box, but doesn't ask for the "UPC" code from the box? So,if a person was so inclined, they could purchase the drive from Circuit City make a copy of the receipt and return the drive to CC, then send in the CC rebate for the $40 gift card using the "UPC" code off the drive they purchased at BB, bringing the final cost of the WD 80gb HD to $35 or $30.
Also OfficeMax will be selling the 80gb WD drive with a $40 rebate starting 3-17,
OM $40 rebate, so a person who didn't want a gift card could do it at OM instead of CC.
