was wondering if the 850W EVGA SupperNOVA PSU is sufficient for SLI GTX 980 GPUs with over clocked CPU and liquid cooling system
Should I upgrade to 1000W or is that over kill. I dont plan on doing any upgrades to this system in the next 4 years

the power supply is imho the most important component in a build...it is like the human heart....i would go for the 1000 watt unit it will hopefully be at least a silver or gold series..and the extra money u spend may give you 2-5 years extra from something that you may have had to replace earlier ..the technology in power supply design has come a long way quickly in say the last five years...over clocking takes a fair amount of power as well..i see you have lighting and about 6 or more fan..if it was me definitely a gold or platinum series supply..and upgrades are far apart but addons you may want to put in at a later stage..plan ahead reap the benefits...and with those video cards more reason to step up to 1200W

The 850 is enough, but you may want more if you are planning on overclocking both GPUs.
