Well I contacted Crucial about an order I placed and recieved a couple of days ago and it went something like this...
We continue to monitor pricing on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis so that
we may deliver the most competitive prices to our customers. Due to the
volatility of the market, we are unable to adjust pricing after an order has
shipped.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and look forward
to the opportunity to do business with you in the future. If you have any
further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. At Crucial, we are
committed to taking care of our customers by providing the highest-quality
products and most reliable service and support.
Oh and they did say they were sorry
