8600GT XXX Edition Issue

I seem to be having a problem with a new system build.

Downloaded latest nTune.
nTun currently shows my XFX 8600GT XXX Edition Card as:

Core Clock : 620 Mhz
Memory Clock : 800 Mhz

Question is :

Why is nTune registering only 800mhz?
My card is suppose to have a 1600mhz memory clock.

What do I need to do to fix this ?

Nothing needs to be done. Enjoy your new card. 800MHz is DDR ram which is double data rate ram.....so 800MHz = 1600MHz which is exactly what that card should be clocked at.

The 800MHz speed you are seeing is the internal clock speed of the ram. The external speed is 1600MHz.
