Not sure if anyone cares but I seen BFG 8600GTS at BestBuy today for $249.00.

I never buy computer parts from Best Buy, too overpriced. Good to know that these cards are coming though. I'll probably upgrade, my 7600GT keeps freezing.

more consumer stuff than anyone else and you know why? Because they have CHEAPER
support-repair center, you don't need to send 40-50" PLASMA-LCD's by UPS to oversea
for repair, 100% WARRANTY on everything. That's WHY.
Regular PC parts you can buy at Newegg or ZZ or another but then you gona take care
about UPS, SHIPPING and so.....

There was a horror story on here once about a guy who bought one of their HDTVs. IIRC, during this process he found out that BestBuy deliberately has the consumer do a run-around. They had technicians go to his house three times before they are reimbursed by the manufacturer for repairs. The tech's only ended up damaging his TV further. Dozens of useless phonecalls and an email later he gets an acceptable response and a working TV.

All I know is they screwed my father out of hard earned money. When my father went to BestBuy to buy a digital camera, he was being "helped" by one of their salesmen. He specifically asked for a camera with USB support, they agree on a camera, salesman runs to the back grabs the camera, brings it to the register, money exchange, my dad goes home to find that the camera uses a serial connection... He goes back and eats a 15% restocking fee even after speaking with a retarded, useless, "manager."

Coupled with their devil customer policy, I pretty much want nothing to do with BB.
