there was a 10% auto coupon also being applied. That is dead now..

if you have a coupon you might still use it though..

Dang, would have jumped on this but waiting to see what ATI comes out with. Not that I'm a fanboy or anything, but I'm fine with my X1900XT right now till those badass DX10 games and Vista come out. Well...Conroe upgrade first. I saw this yesterday and thats a VERY good price compared to what is out now....well, was!

Right. As someone above pointed out, the coupons are no longer stacking. Still probably the best price around for a GTS.

I'm betting the GTS will be $399 before Christmas anyway.

The coupons are stackable. Buy the 10% off Electronics and Accessories coupon on Ebay then you have to go to the "Small Business" store and you can stack the coupon you just purchased from Ebay. AFTER TAX it was around $400. Nice deal. Oh and yeah the coupon on Ebay cost me like $4.

Deal is still alive at $429. You'll see discount when you add it to your cart.

to get $382 now you'll have to have your own 10% coupon.

You all must have money to blow and deep pockets! There aren't even any DX10 games out yet and some say there won't be any for 6 to 12 months and by then these cards will be at least $100 cheaper!!!

at $382 it cost as much as a DX9 card, while still being faster in DX9 and display better graphic. Quieter and HDCP comp.

You mean there will be newer cards and the full price cycle will start all over again.

Deal is still up. You have to go to checkout for 75 dollar discount.
Could one stack this with 10% off from ebay and then 50 dollars off using 5000 amex points? Would bring GTS down to around ~325 right?

I bought a 10% off coupon on Ebay and it won't stack. Seems like everyone else has gotten theirs to work, did Dell nerf the coupons overnight or did I get a bad coupon code?

Edit: Nvm, looks like they nerfed the coupon for the xbox 360 but it still works for the video cards, bastards.

I did an quick chat session with a Dell salesperson to ask the question "what is the warranty on this item"? And to my surprise...

"Unfortunately, there is no warranty with this item."

No warranty on a $600 video card.

Does the Dell rep not know what they were talking about or is this true? I mean $600 is a deal, but the XFX card offers the double-lifetime warranty. That's why you buy an XFX. (That's why I am looking at the XFX anyway.)

Let me know if this salesperson was wrong. Thanks.

I think Dell means that they don't warranty the item themselves. If you have any problem, you deal with XFX directly

I have a Small Business 10% off coupon that as far as I can tell stacks with the auto 15% discount. However, I'm not in the market for a new card so I'm willing to give the coupon to someone who needs it. In the email from dell, it says the coupon expires on December first, but when I enter it at checkout, it says it expires TONIGHT. I'm not sure which one is correct so if you want it, you should know that it might not be valid in just a couple of hours (1 hour, 8 minutes if they're going by Eastern Time). PM me, and I'll send you the code ASAP.

**Coupon use pending**

Has anyone had their order shipped? I ordered a GTX and I am waiting for it to ship. I have a friend who ordered a GTS, before the deal went public on the forums, and his shipped the next day. I am curious on how long Dell will sit on my order before they decide to ship/backorder it.

I have had mixed results with Dell S&P. Sometime I get two days later, and other times I have waited and waited and waited.....

GL with your orders guys and gals!

Well Dell is infamous for their lying about stock availability.
When I ordered my PDA the estimated ship date was like in 5 days past my order date.

Then 1 week later I get a boiler plate voicemail saying my item wasn't yet in stock
and that according to law I'd need to call to confirm I still wanted it or they'd cancel
the order. Online the stock status showed a new "1 more week" estimated ship date.

Fast forward to still 1 more week later, another phone call requesting confirmation
to keep the order in the system, 1 more "updated" estimated ship date for the end
of the current week...

Fast forward to still 1 more week.... same deal...

I waited over 1 MONTH for an "usually ships within 5 days" item, and I understand that's
pretty much their standard operating practice for "estimated shipping dates"; either
it is *in* stock and "usually ships within 1-2 days", or isn't in stock and it could take
weeks and they'll always just tell you "it's estimated to ship at the end of the week"
no matter what the real story is.

I'd just be careful that the "going price" doesn't fall to less than what you ordered it
for while you're waiting weeks for your item, and heaven forbid you need to add to
or change your order -- you're in for a Dellish experience if you try that!

My GTS says shipping by 12/8 and I saw the post on FW when it had 0 views and immediately knew what it was about and ordered.

Hell, I emailed yesterday to cancel the order cause I don't buy their estimated ship date and don't want to end up waiting a month and they said it was too late because it was in the fulfillment process.

I ordered when it was in stock, but thanks to excessively lame browser incompatibility
on the part of Dell and mostly Visa (whose 'verified by visa' thing -- which I don't even
subscribe to -- that acts *just* like a phishing / cross-site malware thing -- was blocked
by my browser, malfunctioned, started subscribing me to stuff I didn't even want and
couldn't cancel. Then by the time that all that straightened out of course it was OOS.

Grr time for a new credit card provider that doesn't do stupid cross-site info phishing
with browser incompatible / security incompatible cookies and javascript and frames
gosh knows what else to a plethora of 'random' sites I'd never heard of before
other than the one I actually doing business with...

Dell claims they shipped my 8800GTX and I will have it via DHL on 12-4.

12-4 IT'S HERE!!!

I installed it and it is beautiful! Oblivion runs much smoother at 1600x1200 than my7950GX2 could do, and I bumped up the eyecandy to almost full. It's far more responsive outdoors, especially in battle. I can't wait for Vista drivers and DX10 games!
