8800 GTS/Vista 64: Use Nvidia or after-market drivers?

I'm going to be making the delve very shortly to Vista 64. There are always those that swear by vendor supplied drivers and those who prefer after-market ones like Omega drivers. For those of you who have used Vista 64 and have Nvidia cards, which do you prefer? The standard Nvidia ones or after-market? Based upon your personal experiences, do one set offer an advantage/disadvantage over another? :beer:

I'm about to move to Vista 64bit as well and from reading it seems there are certain issues but most have a solution and the drivers seem to be pretty stable.

The alternatives to Forceware don't get updated fast enough.

So the official, or usually, beta Forceware is what i use.

Use the 162.50 Quadro WHQL drivers. They are the most stable ones that I have found in Vista x64, all video and gaming functions are working. As an added bonus even Vista "Sleep" mode works with these, makes the machine "instant on" just by moving the mouse, hence reboots are few and far between

I have been through hell with my Vista 64 setup. I have tried EVERYTHING including 162.50. The ONLY drivers that work without bsod / ctd is 163.44 http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1713

I have used nothing but XG modded drivers. Love em and will always use nothing else. The officals get modded almost as soon as they come out but not all of them do. Get them Here

I second the 163.44 set. Practically the only set other than 158.45 that has been reliable with G80 SLI in Vista 64 for me. Doesn't hurt that it's significantly faster in games for me as well.
