Mem: 2x1GB & 2x512MB (3GB Total) Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 @ 800MHz 4-4-4-12 (1.2 ratio for the test)
PSU: 600Watt Ultra

Data charting done in Open Office.

UC = under clock since the 8800gs I have has better then standard memory on board, so I wanted to test for people who have the base memory as well.

It would be nice if you could test how these cards compare in actual games. 3dmark scores don't always reflect how well a card will run games.

I'd imagine the demos of popular games probably have benchmark options.

It'd be cool if you could test some older games as well, to illustrate advantages the different architectures.

Id like to do some older game benches like oblivion too.

I tried to do the benchmark in the crysis demo but it kept telling me I wasn't pointing to the root folder. I'll have to try again. I really want to do some gaming resolution testing since (most) people use 1680x1050 for the average to high level gamer. I suppose casual gamers might still be using 1280x1024 and then the rich gamers (haha) at 1920x1600 or 1920x1080(I'll admit if the tv was in a better spot I would game on it).

FEAR also has a built in benchmark utility although its not free.
