Being that the price & brand is the same, why not pick up one of these kits?

I just purchased a total of 4 kits to stuff two Z97 MB's to the max (32GB in each PC), have both of the 'Devil's Canyon' CPU's produced in the i7-4790K & i5-4690K. Was running the GSkill 1600MHz Aegis (same capacity), with these newer ones & Intel XMP Profile 1 enabled, what a difference!

Have read many articles that the 2nd & 3rd gen CPU's supports XMP, so considering that much more performance for the same cost, you may end up purchasing another kit later. On my main rig, having a Noctua NH-D15 cooler, didn't even have to remove the heatsink on the first slot closest to the CPU, just had to raise one CPU fan a little, although did have to on the i5-4690K build with Cooler Master 212 Hyper EVO, the latter a purchase I regret. By the time I added two Noctua cooling fans (at a cost of $52) to replace the loud, flimsy included one, could had purchased another easy to install Noctua NH-D15 straight out, and also saved myself a lot of work in installing that 1st RAM module (not to mention having to give up a beautiful RAM heatsink). While many calls the Hyper 212 EVO 'big', they've not laid eyes on a premium cooler, the Noctua NH-D15 has
twin aluminum/copper coolers rizing, the 2nd 140mm fan is sandwiched in between the two. On the Hyper 212, one has to attach two fans to the same one.
So please don't make the mistake I did in purchasing inferior RAM, just because the Intel site says one will support only DDR3 1333/1600, the MB OEM determines this, and most usually has a compatibility list of known working kits, although usually not kept up to date, so may not reflect newer model kits. When in doubt, I always ask the Newegg community, and since I'm a Premier customer, get free shipping both ways, as well as no restock fees on most items on many sites.
DDR3-1600 RAM kits are very generic, once you've seen one stick or kit, you've seen
most all, 11-11-11-28 timings on most every kit out there. Very little creativity, like lowering the timings within the modules to have superior performance.
BTW, did I mention that's Super Fast RAM in the kit above for the same price?
