Just remember that there is no real 8k content yet. It is just upscaling 4k. The only real difference that you might be truely seeing is the fact that the 8k TV's are typically using the best technology panels, compared to the now "mainstream" 4k (where-in there are tons of budget panels in use to hit various price points). The 8k screens on the other-hand have not yet had penny pincher treatments because the various companies are still using them to showcase the state-of-the-art and hoping the mainstream market will buy other items in their brand when they realized that the 8k is out of their budget.
We are probably 2-3 years away from 8k content that isn't simply upscaled UHD. Sure, places will start claiming they have 8k network streaming content, but as stated, almost all of that will simply be upscaled UHD, and/or highly compressed content (networks simply can not handle the bandwidth, as we don't have 40+ Gbit internet connections which would be needed to deliver true 8k without massive compression). This means the dreaded blocky compression bands in the video streams on that 8k display.
I am going to say it, but without a disc based solution for video content, I would simply wait, and I would certainly not buy any 8k TV that does not have certified HDMI 2.1 connections (I think only the samsung has that). Anything else does not even have the bandwidth in the HDMI cable to ever transmit 8k to that TV, so it will never be more than a glorified 4k TV.
