8K7A or Kyro II Problem

I've just put a system together with an Epox 8K7A and a Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 (and W2K Pro). Each time I go to "shutdown/restart" in W2K, my monitor goes to power saver mode and then shuts down (black screen). It's not the monitor, because I've switched out and have the same problem. I've loaded the latest driver from the Hercules site. Any suggestions? Help! Thanks.

It sounds like glitch a lot of us are having. The system won't boot back on if restarted by software. Does it do that same thing if you save changes and exit in the BIOS?

Netgear FA311 Network card
Riva 16MB TNT AGP Creative Labs card. (yeah yeah yeah)
2x IBM DeskStar 75GXP 30.7GB RAID 0
Kenwood 72X CD-ROM
Creative Labs 12x Ovation DVD
Microsoft Internet USB Keyboard
Microsoft Intellieye Intelli Mouse USB
Antec PP-303? 300 WATT Power Supply
I list mouse and keyboard because it can cause a system not to boot. As it did back with the FIC SD-11
Any of these parts sound familiar?

I don't have a Kyro card, but I remember reading that people have been having this problem all over. But that Hercules was aware of it and it will be fixed by a driver update shortly.

Funny thing, I spoke to Hercules support today by phone. They gave no hint of a known problem and tried to say the problem is with the MOBO. I wonder if their right hand knows what their left is doing? Thanks.
